The three scenarios reprinted in this volume are nominally set in 1920s America, but may readily be relocated to locations better suited to your campaign. They are Call of Cthulhu scenarios in the grand style, with plenty of creatures, forbidden tomes, strange artifacts, and sinister villains -- and each should take no more than a single session to run. Their content ranges from cautious investigation to in-your-face danger, and their reach even extends beyond the range of the Cthulhu Mythos into the realm of folklore. Diversity is king!
The Resurrected

collects the best material from the early out-of-print issues of the world's premiere digest for Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu role-playing game. Each volume of this series features quality material revised and expanded from the original appearance, with all-new artwork. The scenarios in this volume originally appeated in TUO1 and TUO3, of which 1600 copies were printed.

"The Travesty" and "The House on Stratford Lane" were previously reprinted The Unspeakable Oath: Courting Madness and were subsequently reprinted again in The Resurrected Vol. 3: Out of the Vault. "Within You Without You" also appears in the latter publication, making it a complete superset of this volume.
