Contents
Minions is a collection of very brief "adventure episodes" -- more detailed than the Tales of Terror printed in The Unspeakable Oath, but far shorter than traditional scenarios. Each is only about 2-4 pages, beginning with a large player handout and including a single encounter which elaborates or resolves an issue arising from the handout.
This book represents the only publication by Chaosium that uses this "adventure episode" format. The episodes included in this volume are:
- Serendipity
- Six Foot Plot
- Terrible Head
- The Last of Joy
- Lost Property
- Circle of Friends
- Ghost Net
- Painted in a Corner
- Where Satan Fell
- Mouthbreathers
- Horror Man
- Stone Shifter
- Crab Canon
- Lazy Eye
- Watering Hole
Scenarios: All of the episodes included in this book are too brief to be properly thought of as scenarios in the normal Call of Cthulhu tradition.

Fifteen Brief Encounters
Back Cover Text
Minions is a gestalt of short scenarios and brief encounters designer for one or more intrepid Cthulhu Mythos investigators. Whether juxtaposed alongside an ongoing campaign or played out in a single session by those at a loose end, these fifteen short adventures offer a diverse cluster of dangerous and challenging situations certain to throw one off at tangents.
To properly whet the players' appetites for adventure, each of the fifteen encounters has an attractive reference handout devised to lure their investigators into the most singular and compromising situations and into some quite unnerving company.
What business has the mysterious prowler following an investigator home? What does Farmer Billman have buried squirming beneath the woodland floor? And, in a series of concept scenarios, what answers will the investigators find behind the recent series of local offbeat killings?
<also includes the titles of the fifteen "adventure episodes" as text intertwined in two boxes>
